Re:what's mean(回复天空不再蓝)
"city girl", maybe that is not a correct phrase, not a typical english saying. I mean the teenagers born and bred in modern cities, they think and act in a modern and fashionable way.

Yes, the teacher is a native speaker, he is from England. It is imporssible for me to get extra time to talk with him because his responsibility is teaching within the class time. I can not occupy his time outside the class. The only thing I can do is listening to him with all my ears in the class.

I just came back from the English school. I brought my daughter to my class today, I found out her listening ablity is much better than me. Though she doesnot understand the knowledge of Business ( that is a business english course), she still can answer a lot of question very quick.

I am going to join an oral English class after this one.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Is your English teacher a foreigner?
If he/she is, maybe it's quite difficult to follow him/her all the time. Maybe you'd better find chance to communicate with him/her as much as possible. And that will help a lot with your listening and speaking! Just a suggestion.

Re:[无主题](回复wanderland)
Now it is not too difficult for me to express myself in English here, I think I can write the general ideal in my limited English. As you know, I joined an English course, I find my listening comprehension is not good enough, I can not follow my teacher all the time, maybe 20% percent or more is missed in the class. I think that is because  no English environment in the daily life. I need to practice more on listening and speaking skills.

I like to read your writing. Your writings are pretty good, and I can learn many words what are new for me from them.

Re:[无主题](回复wanderland)
Hi, wanderland

You did not offend me, no need to say sorry. I am a sales engineer in a machine company. In fact it is a boring job, but i have do it for a living. Working in this sort of company, facing a lot of unfair things, I often feel my routine is so dull and ineffectively, but I must do it for a living, just for a living. For I can treat business matters in English, so files waiting for treat are piled on my desk very often, just for no others can do, I have to carry some extra loads. Just for most of the others do the a same jobs what is defferent from mine, it is easy for them to gain perks and benifit. And just for no the chiefs can check my files, they often give me a bad comment maybe for jealous. So sometimes when I was asked to do something in English, I hate English.

Thank you for your message. many thanks

humming, if i offended you by "for a living", i apologize.
i was asking that because i am really impressed by your English diary, and i just guess that you write such good english because you are working on sth. related to english.
i said "for a living" just because it is a way to ask one's job.
Sorry again. And I admire you a lot for your commitment to english and study!
May your dream on english come true one day, and I also believe you'll make your dream come ture with your persverence and hard work!
Best wishes to you again!

Re:[无主题](回复wanderland)
Yes, sky is probably right. Learning English, it is just my interest. I work in a state owned machine building company, no one requires us to use English or mater English. And my wage is not  linked with my English skill. I can survive in this company if I know nothing about English. But now, just for I can use English, a lot of extra jobs are allocated on me. Though I have to use it in my work sometimes, learning English now is not for that.

I enjoy learning English, I enjoy saying my poor English.

It's wrong. I think Humming learn English just for her interesting not for living or work. She likes literature, but she had practiced Engineering course in the university. She don't like to work , but she must go to her office to finish the task well.

I am very impressed by your commitment to English learning. Are you doing something related to English for a living? I wonder.
